SBA Arts Trail 2010, Southville Centre: 8 & 9 May 2010

Emily will be showing a selection of new work, and a few older pieces too, on 8 and 9 May as part of the Southbank Bristol Arts Trail 2010.

Emily's colourful views of Bristol terraces will be joined by line drawings of allotments (in screen print form), as well as the odd submarine and more than a few spirographs.

Emily will be in the Greville Room, in the Southville Centre, Beauly Road, Southville (venue 26 on the trail - please see the following Google map or Street View of the Southville Centre).

Exhibition in the Southville Centre: 2 February - 1 April 2010

Emily is currently showing a selection of work in the café at the Southville Centre.

Come and see some of her newer work, including images of allotments and a spirograph submarine! Other features are a Red Arrow and a wheelbarrow!

Front Rooms 2009 - the Totterdown Art Trail: 20 - 22 November 2009

Ready for visitors on the Totterdown Art Trail

Come and visit Emily on the Totterdown Arts Trail (Front Rooms 2009), on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November 2009. Emily will be showing examples of her screen prints, collages and cards, including some of new prints.

Houses on the Arts Trail are open from 12 noon - 6 pm on both days. You are also welcome to come to the preview on the evening before the trail weekend, Friday 20 between 6 and 9 pm. Emily will be showing her work on Hawthorne Street (see Google map).

The Grain Barge: 16 May 2009

Pop along to The Grain Barge on 16 May 2009, from 11 am onwards to see a variety of Emily's work. Emily will be showing new collages and screen prints, including, A-Z of Bristol houses, plus some older fvourites!

She'll downstairs (on the left as you go in) on the The Grain Barge, which can be found on the side of the docks, to the side of Hotwells Road, Clifton, Bristol. BS8 4RU.

SBA Arts Trail 2009, Southville Centre: 9 & 10 May 2009

Emily's screen prints and collages will be on show in the Southville Centre, Beauly Road, Southville, during the Arts Trail weekend, hosted by the Southbank Bristol Arts (SBA) organisation on the 9 & 10 May 2009 from 11 am - 6 pm.

If you haven't visited this event before, please come along this year - it's a really great way to get out and see some good stuff!

Bocabar: February 2009

During all of February 2009, Emily's work can be seen in the restaurant area of Bocabar, at Paintworks. Pop in for pizza and have a look at some of her new work, including large collages, simple landscapes and screen prints of Totterdown.

Bocabar is situated near the entrance to Paintworks, which is on Bath Road, Arnos Vale, Bristol BS4 3EH. Parking is available on the Paintworks site for visitors.

A Picture of Bath: 5 - 25 August 2008

Emily's screen prints and collages will be on show in the Rostra Gallery, 5 George Street, Bath, BA1 2EH, during their show "A Picture of Bath" from 5 - 25 August 2008.

This popular annual exhibition showcases new and desirable paintings, limited edition prints and jewellery by artists working in, or inspired by, the ancient city of bath.

The Rostra Gallery is open Monday - Saturday, 10 am - 5.30 pm and Sunday, 11 am - 4 pm.

Homecoming, Grant Bradley Gallery: 26 October - 22 November 2007

Two of Emily's clay pieces can be seen in the Grant Bradley Gallery, Number 1 St. Peter's Court, Bedminster Parade, Bristol, as part of the "Homecoming" exhibition, from 26 October - 22 November 2007.

Homecoming is an Open Exhibition inviting all Bristol artists to submit works which respond to the idea of 'Home'. Two of Emily's clay pieces, Terraces 1 and Terraces 2 were chosen to be in the exhibition.

The Grant Bradley Gallery is open Monday - Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm.

Bristol in Colour, Grant Bradley Gallery: 21 July - 25 August 2007

A selection of Emily's screen prints and collages were shown in the Grant Bradley Gallery, Number 1 St. Peter's Court, Bedminster Parade, Bristol, as part of a show entitled "Bristol in Colour", from 21 July - 25 August 2007.

The Grant Bradley Gallery is open Monday - Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm.

There was a preview evening on Friday 27 July, from 7 - 9 pm, which was very popular, and there was a good number of visitors to the gallery during the period of the exhibition.

SBA Arts Trail 2007, Southville Centre: 12 & 13 May 2007

Emily's screen prints and collages were on show in the Southville Centre, Beauly Road, Southville, during the Arts Trail weekend, hosted by the Southbank Bristol Arts (SBA) organisation on the 12 & 13 May 2007 from 11 am - 6 pm.

Despite the rain, there were thousands of visitors to the Southville Centre and the other trail venues over the arts trail weekend, making it, as ever, a very enjoyable event.

If you haven't visited this excellent event before, please make sure you come along next year! More information should be available closer to the date on the Southbank Bristol Arts (SBA) website.

 

Prema Gallery: 3 March - 15 April 2007

Emily exhibited a collection of screen prints in the Prema Gallery, in Uley, Gloucestershire. Prema is a small, independent rural Arts Centre, with a programme that is the envy of many a larger, urban venue. Situated in a former Baptist Chapel, it has a great space that it uses for both exhibitions and live events.

Emily showed her screen prints both upstairs and in the lobby downstairs. Imogen Harvey Lewis and Hannah Turner also showed, screen prints, sketches, ceramics over the same period.
