Come and see it at venue 40 on Hawthorne Street where I will be showing with the wonderful @carajaneuk , @melwickham and @angieparkertextiles . We are open 6-9 on Friday evening and 11-6 on Saturday and Sunday.

Oh, I'm in a book! A lovely opening for the #BristolandBathArtBook at @waterstonesbristol on Saturday. Thanks to everyone involved. Very happy to have two of my Bristol pictures chosen, including my favourite, this one of hot air balloons(seen opposite two pictures by @jennyurquhart). So nice to catch up with lots of people I haven't seen in ages including @laurarobertsonartist and @donabdrawings

Finished photos of Rio before he headed off to M&S in The Mall. You can just see the flutter of Monarch butterflies on his cheek, but you can't quite see the poison dart frog on his foot! There are also Oxbow lakes on his ears and collar, which makes me very happy 😊

It’s not often you get asked to tattoo a five fo

It’s not often you get asked to tattoo a five foot tall dog! ‘Aloha!’ was designed by the wonderful folk at The Grand Appeal, and they very kindly gave me the opportunity to bring their design to life. I especially enjoyed painting his Wallace tattoos, and the rocket on his back. I quite fancy a shirt in his ear pattern...

Look what I got in the post! I painted two Gromits for the Grand Adventure at The Mall, but thanks to the lock downs I've only been able to visit them once. These postcards from the Grand Appeal shop are just lovely and I will be sending them to everyone to say 'wish you were here'.

As requested after my last post, the result of lots of time spent climbing up and down scaffolding in the cold. The colour looks even better when there is a bright blue sky behind it. Stone work made to look wonderful by @atwillstoneco

The most productive thing I did last year was pain

The most productive thing I did last year was paint the front of my house. There was a pretty good view from the top of the scaffolding - I never knew you could see the Suspension Bridge from my house before!

One of the things I love about Bristol are all the wonderful buildings. This bright red brick beauty is on the corner of Clare Street and St Stephen's Avenue. I am going to try and appreciate the world around me a bit more when out and about getting my exercise over the next few weeks.
